Paul Reed

Senior Research Fellow, Centre on Governance, University of Ottawa

Mr. Reed worked at Statistics Canada from 1980 until 2009, as Director General of the Analytical Studies Branch and, from 1990, as Senior Social Scientist. He was also, concurrently, Professor of Sociology and Law at Carleton University. He has served as a consultant to the Supreme Court of Canada and the Privy Council Office among other bodies, and is a member of the Nonprofit Sector Project Advisory Committee for the Canadian Policy Research Networks. Dr. Reed was a Fellow of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, and has authored over 100 research papers, journal articles and monographs.
