Holding a Masters degree in Community Health, France Laverdière is currently working to develop the first ministerial guidelines on partnering with patients and families to improve the quality of care and experience of care. She has worked at the Québec Ministry of Health and Social Services (MSSS) since 2002, specializing in the organization of care and services and the development of public policy. Before joining the Ministry, Ms. Laverdière had almost 20 years experience in management and nursing in CLSCs and hospitals, giving her a multifaceted perspective on quality of care and health and social services.
