Paul Lirette

President, Canada Pharmaceuticals, GSK

Mr. Lirette assumed his role as President, Canada Pharmaceuticals in June 2012 and is responsible for all pharmaceutical operations for GSK in Canada. He currently chairs the Canadian Country Management Board representing the Pharma business as well as leading the Pharma Leadership Team. A native of Montreal, he has 25 years of industry experience and has held international leadership roles with GSK in both Europe and Australia. Mr. Lirette is an active member of Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) and of Montreal InVivo, where he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors in June 2014. He has served on community organizations, including the Fondation Reussite Jeunesse, the Knights Table, and as an executive champion to engage employees with GSK’s United Way and Save the Children Canadian campaigns. Mr. Lirette holds an MBA from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). In 2015, he was recognized by UQAM’s Business School for his inspirational leadership, personal contributions to business performance, and employee development.
