Patient Engagement: What is it? Why does it matter? How is it done?

The 7th Annual Conference of the MUHC-ISAI

This conference, held October 2 and 3, 2014, in Montreal, aimed to clearly demonstrate the benefits of patient engagement in quality improvement and self-care; present best practices in Canada and internationally; highlight the impact of patient engagement on care, cost and outcomes; and outline policy changes at hospital, regional and provincial levels to support patient engagement.
